Farewell Harbour is surrounded by a number of small islands and islets offering it protection from most directions and making the calm, emerald green water in front of the lodge perfect for stand up paddle boarding. Paddle boarding can be as relaxing or as strenuous as you like. Gently dip your paddle as you drift across the harbour on your paddle board watching for telltale Orca and Humpback blows out in Blackfish Sound or Bald eagles soaring overhead or paddle vigorously to get the strengthening effects of a well-rounded workout. Stand up paddle boarding is easily accessible to everyone and is a wonderful way to connect to the water and beauty surrounding the lodge.
